Banff Springs Golf

E.J. (Ted) Hart

The world’s best golfers, movie stars, celebrities, club members, and every-day golf enthusiasts—they have all played the Banff Springs Golf Course. Since 1911 there has always been a golf course in Banff National Park, waiting for those wishing to enjoy a round in one of the grandest settings imaginable. This book recounts the heritage of golf at the Banff Springs on what is regarded as the crowning achievement for Stanley Thompson, Canada’s revered golf course architect. Come and join us as we play a round with history.

Also recommended is the book Banff Springs: The Story of a Hotel, which includes a chapter on the history of the Banff Springs Golf Course.
